This is hands down the most authentic Lebanese restaurant in the region—if not in all of Canada. Au Liban’s food looks and tastes like it comes straight from Beirut. The atmosphere is amazing, with Lebanese songs playing throughout our time there. The staff is warm and friendly, and the food is absolutely mind-blowing. Highly recommended if you want to experience what it’s really like to eat in Lebanon.

The food is incredible. Complex flavors that comfort. The atmosphere is light, airy; just lovely! The wait staff were absolutely the best (Tamar was awesome) - so friendly and knowledgeable!! This is a serious find in this city, even with all this good food to be found here.

They made a great night for my spouse’s birthday dinner!

We had the "Evenings in Beirut" for 4, which is a generous set menu full of cold and hot mezza, as well as grilled meats and freshly baked pita. The flavours were very authentic, and literally, every dish tasted great. If you like Lebanese or Mediterranean food, you should go to Au Liban without hesitation.

Great restaurant. Lots of appetizers if you just want a variety of small dishes. Nice entrees to select from as well. Drink and wine list was good. Lots to choose from. Server was knowledgeable and very pleasant. Will definitely be back. Different than a lot of downtown spots.

I ate here for the first time and we ate from the set menu! Absolutely incredible meal, service and atmosphere. The amount of food was astounding, and the taste was so fresh and authentic. I honestly can say I am so looking forward to my next visit there to try more delicious cuisine.

Going Above and Beyond for Guests Service at Au Liban isn’t just good—it’s exceptional. When they learned that my wife has a dairy allergy, they went out of their way to source a dairy-free chocolate torte from another restaurant to make her birthday celebration truly special. That level of care is rare, and it makes all the difference.
